Adventures in Digital Illustration: The Sequel

So this is my first completed all-digital picture. From initial sketch to finished piece this was done 100% on the computer. It was for a school project in which we had to show something transforming into something else. And it had to have some meaning to it. So I chose to do Marie Antoinette eating cake while her skirt holds the common people of France hostage. A metaphor for how her opulent lifestyle taxed the peasants she ruled over.
This was (as I said) my first computer illustration ever. I sort of muddled through, and figured it out as I went along. I know its not perfect, but it is my greatest improvement in a long time. It's awhole new world now.
